Hunum bees live in an environment far from sources of pollution and disturbance. The mid-coast area is rich in nectariferous floral varieties which give our honey a unique aroma. The choice to produce a wildflower derives mainly from the desire to provide an "aromatic photograph" of the environment in which it is produced. Our wildflower honey has a prevalence of raspberry and blackberry nectars, with traces of chestnut and ericaceous. Furthermore, by allowing the bees to complete their honeycomb processing cycle undisturbed, the honey will be of superior quality without the need for further refining and drying processes.
